The Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Deccan Chargers were warmly welcomed at the Hyderabad Airport.

Pragyan Ojha, Venugopal Rao arrived on Airport with the IPL trophy and the winner's cheque of Rs 4.8 crore.

Deccan Chargers has won the crown after beating Vijay Mallya's Royal Challengers Bangalore in neck-to-neck final match.

Absence of Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds, Herschelle Gibbs, R. P. Singh and Rohit Sharma disappointed cricket fans, who arrived there to get a glimpse of stars of this victory.

As reported by the officials, foreign players flown back to their countries and Indian players including R. P. Singh, Rohit Sharma joined Indian Team in Mumbai ahead of ICC T20 World Cup next month.
