Cupid to launch ‘low cost female condoms’ in Indian Market

Cupid to launch ‘low cost female condoms’ in Indian MarketCupid Limited, the premier condom manufacturing company, has developed female condoms to be sold in domestic as well as in global market, at an affordable price as a preventive measure to combat AIDS.

Through latest launch, females now do not need to depend on their partner for safeguarding themselves against HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies.

The company believes that, latest launch could be a good alternative in the direction to help women protect themselves against unwanted pregnancies, as compared with contraceptive pills, which cost higher and have side effects.

Further, the company informed that it has developed the new product at its state of art Research & Development (R&D) facility at Nashik Plant. In addition, Cupid's female condom has also been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The company will primarily launch this product in Indian markets, and has subsequent plans to hit global markets as well, through its already established distributors.

It should be that female condom is not a new product to Indian consumers. Actually, it has already been launched in Indian market a year earlier by other companies. But the product could not be successful due to lack of education, poor availability and higher costs.
