Criminal Case To Be Lodged Against Lalit ModiThe fate of the IPL chief, Lalit Modi, will be decided soon and it is generating heat along with the IPL matches.  The final match will be played by Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, which will mark the end of the league.

IPL governing council is prepared with evidences to declare the final decision. Modi has declared that he will not be resigning and will welcome the move, by IPL governing council of sacking him. It has been reported that council has decided of his suspension and will serve him with a seven-day notice period. They will be appointing a CEO and would ensure proper division of responsibilities.

The Board has decided to register a criminal complaint against him and said, ‘‘there are incriminating documents against him and some very serious charges. In all likelihood, we will register a criminal complaint against him in the Economics Offences Wing. The money that has gone missing belongs to BCCI and it has to be brought into the accounts”.

A counter attack is being expected by Modi, who threatens that his move will not be a silent one. It has been reported that the BCCI has even turned down his plea for giving him five days extra for preparing his defence.
