Compucom Software secures order worth Rs 142 crore; Stock surges 5%
Jaipur-based Compucom Software Limited has been awarded an ICT project by Secondary Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, to provide
Computer Education on BOOT basis in 2292 Govt. Schools of Rajasthan.
The contract value is worth Rs 142 crore (approximate) on BOOT basis.
Compucom Software, Ltd., an information technology (IT) company, provides software services and solutions, and learning solutions in India and internationally. In addition, the company has also been involved in wind power generation business.
Shares of the company reacted positively to the news and surged 5% to Rs 32.30 on the BSE in early morning trade. The stock had touched a 52-week high of Rs 45.35 on 10 January 2008 and the hit a 52-week low of Rs 11.40 on 4 June 2007.
The company’s net profit declined 13.64% to Rs 1.14 crore on 8.11% fall in net sales to Rs 4.19 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q3 December 2007.
