Clarke's fate as T20 skipper will be decided next week
Michael Clarke's future as Australia's Twenty20 captain is going to be decided next week. Most of the cricket experts in Australia believe that the poor batting performance in the recent World Cup at West Indies has been the major drawback for Clarke.
His dismal performance with the bat in the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean has been the criticized the most. The team has managed to reach the finals but not able to thrash England in that match.
Now the selectors are also thinking of Victoria captain Cameron White for Clarke's replacement.
Cameron has led the Victoria Bush Rangers in the T20 Big Bash title. Moreover he is the most explosive batsman in the current time.
The selectors may think of him as Clarke has been continuing his dismal performance in the shorter version of the game. His leadership is ok for the test and one days but his batting is not up to that mark inT20 games. The selector's meeting is expected to be held next Saturday and the team for the tour of Britain and Pakistan will be selected.
