Cherie Blair’s autobiography to fight for shelf space with spoof memoirs
London, May 8 : The release of much hyped autobiography of former British PM Tony Blair’s wife Cherie Blair, would be coinciding with the spoof memoirs written on her by comedy writer Ivor Baddiel.
Ivor, comedy writer and brother of comedian David Baddiel is penning Cherie Blair’s satirical tome, which promises to “contain everything you’ll ever need to read to find out what goes on beyond her polished facade”.
The spoof, which is due to release in September aims to be a humorous account of the thoughts and feelings of the 53-year-old barrister, reports the Daily Express.
Ivor has worked with the likes of Stephen Fry and is the author or co-author of several sporting and humorous books.
He had previously written a spoof of footie icon David Beckham’s life story called David Feckham: My Back Side, along with writer Jonny Zucker. (ANI)
