London, Mar 2: Cherie Blair, the wife of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, has said that she feared that she would become pregnant whenever she did not use contraceptives.

Cherie said that a former churchgoer once told her that she became angry at the church''s stance on abortion and contraception.

"I''m a feminist… how could I have done all the things I have done if I hadn''t used contraception? Because actually every time I didn''t use contraception I seemed to have a baby,” the Telegraph quoted Blair as saying in the final part of the Channel 4 series Christianity on March 1.

Writing in her memoirs, Cherie disclosed that her fourth child Leo was conceived during a stay with the Queen at Balmoral, after she had left her contraception at home.

She said she was too embarrassed to take her "contraceptive equipment" because the previous year all her belongings, including her toilet bag, had been unpacked. (ANI)
