Butt offers to quit if Zardari is unsatisfied
PakistanBefore leaving for Dubai, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt has admitted that he has been ready to resign from PCB if Pakistan President Asif Zardari, PCB's chief patron is not satisfied with his work as chairman of PCB as claimed by "Express" newspaper on Sunday.
Butt, who will meet with ICC president David Morgan in Dubai, said that he was given the responsibility to improve Pakistan cricket and he has performed his duty with honesty and dedication but he would quit his post if the president is still not satisfied with his work.
Butt will also attend ICC meeting next week after meeting with Morgan to discuss on the issue of removing Pakistan as a co-host of the 2011 World Cup and to place his request for shifting 14 matches of Pakistan quota to Dubai and Saudi Arab.
