Boston’s Chief Health Inspector Eats at Cleveland Circle’s Chipotle Restaurant to Show Its Safe Now

The Chipotle restaurant in Cleveland circle has reopened. Almost 100 people were sickened after eating at the restaurant, but in order to show the world that it is safe to eat at the restaurant now, Boston’s chief health inspector said he will be having a lunch at the restaurant.

The sudden and quite reopening of the restaurant had been delayed a few days because of a water leak that was unrelated to the outbreak of norovirus nearly three weeks ago.

Nikhil Shankar, an emergency room doctor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center was seen walking out of the restaurant with takeout yesterday afternoon. He said in a statement that city officials have given Chipotle the permission to reopen and it is good enough for him as well.

Boston’s Inspectional Service Department Commissioner William ‘Buddy’ Christopher Jr. told the Herald, “The Chipotle is probably the best place to eat right now, because it’s the cleanest place in Boston. They have a clean bill of health”.

The burrito chain has been hit both by outbreaks of e.coli and norovirus that sickened some customers and caused a public relations disaster. Over 130 individuals got sick after they ate at the Chipotle near Boston College, including several members of the Boston College’s basketball team.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Chipotle has been investigating the causes of the outbreaks.

MarketWatch report said, it seems, Wall Street needs to learn the same lessons like don't expand a business too quickly, don't encourage management to be too aggressive, and don’t pay too much for a stock, even a growth stock.
