Leading textiles firm Bombay Rayon Fashions has announced its June quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11.

The firm has informed that, there has been a 40% rise in the net profit figure of the company in the quarter under review against its year ago like period.

Bombay Rayon Fashions has posted a net profit of Rs 52.17 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010 which was reported to be Rs 37.29 crore in the similar quarter in the financial year 2009-10.

Moreover, the current figure is almost 40% of the net profit figure of the same quarter a year ago. This has been informed by the company in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The net sales of the company have seen a boost as well. The company' quarterly net sales stood at Rs 50.27 crore during the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2010-11.  

The first quarter in the preceding fiscal year, the net sales of the firm were found out to be Rs 33.63 crore.
