Baghdad - Three people were killed and five injured when a bomb went off in a cafe in Iraq's Hillah province, witnesses said Monday.

The explosion hit a coffee shop known for its young visitors and caused serious damage, witnesses told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa. Several cars were also damaged.

Hillah province is located some 100 kilometres south of the capital Baghdad. (dpa)
