Mahesh Bhupathi and TEAM Tennis India are to be equal partners in the establishment of around 100 tennis academies in India and UAE, to promote the game.

MBTA CEO Gaurav Natekar, and Team Tennis founders Sanjay Minotra, Jaideep Bhatia and Aditya Sachdeva are the brains behind this deal in which an investment of Rs 8-10 crore is expected.

Bhupati, however, plans to raise more than 60 crores to prepare, guide and monitor the young players as a part pf Apollo Mission 2018 programme.

Mahesh Bhupati Team Tennis (MBTT) will pursue a graded way of training the players, beginning them from a smaller court to the larger ones.

CEO Gaurav Natekar holds that the goal of MBTT is to bring results in the long turn.
