Bangladesh Optimistic For Test Series Against West IndiesBangladesh has been still optimistic for the test series against West Indies amidst the boycott by the West Indies Players Association (WIPA) over a contract and payment dispute.

The first test match between Bangladesh and West Indies has been scheduled to begin from Thursday at the St Vincent and there have been clouds of uncertainty over the match as WIPA has made it clear that their members would not play without contracts.

Bangladesh Cricket Board spokesman Jalal Yunus said that this has been an internal affair of the West Indies and they assumed that series will go according to schedule as they have not inform them anything yet.

He added that they have seen the reports in media and the match referee has assured them that the match would go ahead according to its schedule.
