Karachi, Feb. 4: Just when the international cricketers of Pakistan who sided with the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) were looking for making a comeback in their national squad after being cleared from the ban imposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), there seems to be more problems brewing up, with reports suggesting that Cricket Australia may not allow its team to play against Pakistan if any ICL cricketer is a part of the Pak team.

According to The News, Oz may refuse to play against Pakistan if any of the `blacklisted' ICL players are called in for Pakistan's national duty.

Cricket Australia's (CA) latest stand on the ICL players is seen as a repercussion of the ICC's meeting in Pert last week, where the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) had sought the demise of the ICL, and managed to convince all member nations of the game to boycott players who participate in the rebel twenty20 league.

CA's tough stand may not allow the PCB to rope in Mohammad Yousuf, their premier middle-order batsman, who had earlier joined the ICL, in the national squad, and subsequently banned by the PCB along with 19 others to play in any international or domestic event.

However, the Sindh High Court (SHC) had suspended the ban imposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday. (ANI)
