ASRC to be included in Air Force launch vehicle team
Officias have informed that ASRC Aerospace Corp. has been selected for systems engineering services supporting the U. S. Air Force Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicles program.
Maryland's ASRC will join a team led by ManTech International Corp., which is under contract to support Launch and Range Systems Wing at the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center.
It has been reported that Engineering, operations and maintenance solutions company ASRC will provide the Atlas V and Delta IV rocket programs with propulsion, avionics and structure support among other engineering services.
ASRC Aerospace President John Horan said in a statement, "This is an important win for us because it gives ASRC Aerospace the opportunity to leverage our civilian space launch knowledge and experience to support Air Force launch programs."
The report further said that ASRC will provide its engineering support at locations in Nevada, California and Florida. (With Inputs from Agencies)
