Areva T&D India has informed that the company has secured an order worth Rs 418 crore from Essar Constructions to provide equipment to the latter's power plant projects in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

The scope includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 250 MVA, 400 kV class GTs, 250 MVA, 400 KV class ICT, UATs, SATs, 400 KV & 220 KV Switchyards (with equipments like Extra High Voltage Breakers, CTs, CVTs, LAs, CRP, SCADA), generator circuit breakers, distribution transformers, etc.

The project is scheduled to be completed by February 2010.
