Ambiguous Questions Leave CBSE Students in a Dilemma
The Central Board of Secondary Education Class XII exams have not been an easy ride for several students. The physics paper especially posed a dilemma to students.
Students claim that the paper was lengthy and did leave them with sufficient time to complete the paper. They state that the paper included numerous lengthy application based questions and there was not adequate time to complete the paper.
Students in examination centers other than Delhi also faced another problem with the physics paper.
The three marks question in the exam, question number 16 in set one and three and question number 15 in set two, based on the Ohm's law did not mention the value of voltage.
The Controller of examinations M.C. Sharma declares that students need not worry about this mistake. They will be compensated for the error. However, he also remarked that the board was undecided about how the compensation would take place. He shares that a committee of experts is scheduled to meet this Monday to resolve the issue.
The Chemistry and English paper was considered comparatively better.
The Math paper also created a great deal of apprehension among students. Students remark that one of the six-mark questions was left incomplete.
The students could not understand the question and owing to this they wasted too much time on one single question.
