Amazon to launch Appstore for Android in India, other marketsAmerican online retail giant, Amazon has said that it will launch its popular Appstore for Android in the 200 markets including the Indian market soon.

The company will launch its app store in several markets including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and South Korea. The company said that the app store will be launched in the coming months but the company said that developers can begin submitting their apps for distribution in the new markets.

This is the first major expansion for the company’s app store in the global market. The company app store is now only available in US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. The expansion of the company will allow it to compete better with larger rivals Google and Apple, both of which have their own huge app stores spanning across the world.

Allowing developers to target distribution of their apps and games in even more international countries is yet another important milestone as we strive to serve consumers and developers globally.”
