London, September 11 : An 8-year-old cheetah has set a new world record for land mammals by running 100 metres in just 6.13 seconds.

Named Sarah, she broke the previous record by 0.06 of a second.

According to the Sun, the new record was created in Ohio, US.

The paper revealed that Sarah even caught the bait she was chasing as she hit speeds of 60mph at the special course near Cincinnati. (ANI)
