60 Militants Killed in Pakistan

At least 60 militants were killed in an air strike by Pakistan military. Militants were targeted in the Swat Valley since Friday morning, a Pakistani army official in the area said Saturday.

Security forces using F-16 fighter jets attacked a militant stronghold that included training camps in the Puchar and Ghaat areas. That is the area from where militants are said to be operating.

On the other hand Taliban spokesman Muslim Khan said at least 16 bombs were dropped during the air strikes but that no militants or Taliban forces were killed.

But according to eye witnesses militants were found dead in that area.
