511 cadets pass out of Indian Military Academy
Dehradun, June 13: 511 gentlemen cadets passed out of Indian Military Academy (IMA) at Dehradun.
The historic Chetwode Drill Square of the IMA echoed with booming commands and thumping of young men, who will soon become commissioned officers of the Indian Army.
"I am very happy. I am passing out after 4 years. Now I''ll be facing many more responsibilities being a young Lieutenant. I''ll be going to my unit and will be leading my men. So, it is a great honour for me being a part of the Indian army as an officer," said Lieutenant N Z Saudi.
The General (Retd) Sunith Francis Rodrigues, presently Governor of Punjab, reviewed the passing out parade as the parents of the cadets witnessed the ceremony.
"I am feeling very good today. I am the proudest mother today. There were many sacrifices involved for this," said Kusum Rana, Cadet''s Mother. (ANI)
