Yamaha does a makeover on FZ16 and FZ-S
After gaining a lot of ground in the premium segment, the automotive company has also made its presence felt in the entry-level segment with the latest offering YBR110.
However, that doesn't mean that the Japanese two-wheeler maker is getting complacent about its plans for the premium segment by any means as the company has recently done a makeover in the two most popular products in the segment - FZ16 and FZ-S.
Notably, the company has sold more than one lakh unit of the two products in the Indian market and the company sold 85,000 units of FZ16 & FZ-S in the last year, contributing to 40% of total sales volume.
Moreover, the two products have been labeled as the much sought after bikes in the Indian market as far as the young Indian consumer is concerned. Koji Arai, Director & Chief Sales Officer, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd said that the company is confident that the refreshed models will take the volumes in the premium segment to a new level altogether.
The company is confident that the new graphics on the product will give a boost to the street biker image of the two-wheeler maker.
