Versace tells Clinton how to dress to become President

New York, Sept 17: As she steps up her attempt to become the first female President of the United States, Hillary Clinton is getting some fashion tips from Donatella Versace, who is telling her to ditch the suits.

Donatella, the Vice-President of the Versace Group and Chief Designer of the fashion line, says that the Presidential candidates needs to lose the suits, and the thick heels when she hits the campaign trail.

"I would suggest her not to do too many suits, because they make her look hard," the New York Post quoted Versace, as telling Lauren Collins in this week's style issue of The New Yorker.

As for what Hillary should wear, well little dresses, that are not too stiff, would be the perfect choice.

She also tells Clinton that she needs ‘big colours’ but definitely not reds.

"Little dresses, not too stiff. There would be some jersey dresses, not too light, but I think she needs big colours because she's a blonde like I am…a good shade of blue - deep, deep purple, but no pastel. And no reds! Very small heels - not thin - and black sheer stockings!" she says.

Versace also believes that Hillary has what it takes to be an Oval Office style-maker.

"I would love her to become most glamorous president ever," she tells the mag. (With Inputs from ANI)
