London, Sept 30 : Rock giants U2 are yet to make any profits from their huge 360 degrees World Tour, because the mammoth show''s overheads are so costly.

The band''s manager Paul McGuinness has revealed that the tour''s show centres on a huge stage called The Claw and costs the Irish rockers 470,000 pounds a day to run - whether or not they are playing.

That adds up to a bill of more than 40 million pounds so far.

The band have played 24 concerts across Europe and nine in North America since opening in Barcelona on June 30.

However, they are now beginning to make money.

"The engineering problems are enormous and costly,” the Sun quoted McGuinness as saying.

"Whether we''re playing or not, the daily overhead is about 470,000 pounds.

"That''s just to have the crew on the payroll, rent the trucks and all that. There are about 200 trucks in total, including merchandise and catering," McGuinness added. (ANI)
