Two die in bus accident in Croatia

Zagreb  - Two people died and seven were injured when a Serbian bus caught fire on a Croatian highway, local media reported on Wednesday.

The accident happened early in the morning near the town Nova Gradiska, around 100 kilometers east of the Croatian capital Zagreb.

The bus had a flat tyre and then hit the wall at the side of the road and caught fire.

A girl and an elderly man, who didn't manage to escape from the bus, were killed.

The injured were sent to the hospital in Nova Gradiska and their lives were not in danger. (dpa)
