Riding on the success of the Wego in the scooter segment and robust demand for its motorcycles, TVS Motor's (TVSL) volumes rose by 39.8% to 524k units in Q3FY11. Motorcycle segment volumes were higher by 38.1% to 209k units while scooter volumes were up 63.7% to 123k units. Moped sales too were up 25.6% at 183k units. The company dispatched 10k three wheelers during the quarter.

.. Owing to the richer product mix, realisations are expected to increase by 9% YoY to Rs31k. Revenues are expected to be higher by 49.6% to Rs16.3bn.

.. With improved product mix and operating leverage, we see a margin improvement of 75bps YoY to 7%.
