Treo Pro To Be Launched By Palm

Soon the fans and admirers of Palm’s Treo brand of smartphones could avail the Treo Pro To Be Launched By Palm new and exciting model-the Treo Pro. Wednesday saw the company making the announcement that it would start selling a sleeker and even more elegant version of Treo, which was once really popular. The price of this latest version would be $549 in US.

The customers can relax as they will not have to sign any contract that means that users could choose between AT&T or T-Mobile’s G.S.M networks and switch whenever they feel like.

The customers will also find it easy to carry it abroad as it also works with many wireless networks in Europe and Asia.

The smartphone which is 4.49 inches by 2.36 inches wide has been powered by the largest battery Palm has ever used in a device, result of which Treo Pro will have five hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby.

Other exciting features include one-touch Wi-Fi button for easy Internet access and a switch that silences a ringing phone immediately. Even the screen saver displays any missed calls or messages. Another button installed flashes if there is any voice message waiting. The set also has a one-button access to e-mail or the calendar.

Palm has been facing a lot of trouble lately as it faced tough competition from Motion and Apple, and the launch of Treo Pro comes as a ray of hope for the company to get its customers back and revive its consumer-friendly image again. The next year will decide the fate of the company, as the much awaited Treo Pro will be launched then.
