Toyota launces 10th generation Corolla Altis
Leading automobile manufacturer, Toyota launched its 10th generation Corolla Altis. The Japanese company is doing its best to expand its business in the Indian market. The company has set a target of selling 4-lakh vehicles by 2015. It has set a target to sell 63000 units in the current fiacal.
The vise-chairman of Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), Vikram Kirloskar maintained that the company would launch new models of new cars in the market. The company intends to expand its business through small-car platform with an investment of Rs 1,400 crore. Soon the company would start small car business to increase its market share. The company holds 2.7% market share in India and sells about 50,000 vehicles in the previous fiscal.
TKM deputy-managing director Sandeep Singh said the company has a set a target to sell 2,000 Corolla Altis every month. The company would also expand its dealership work and explore the market in new cities.
