Many services now allow users to record shows at a time including Cable, DirecTV or DISH Network or even many PC's but the new device allows users to record multiple shows at a time without the need for an additional device.
Tivo Premiere for digital cable and HD antenna allows the device to catch over the air channels but users were able to record two shows at a time due to dual tuners placed in the device. However, the new Roamio will allow recording four shows at a time and upto 75 hours of HD recording. The the Roamio Plus allows suers to record six shows at a time and and 150 hours of HD recording.
The users will have to get a Tivo wireless adapter or a network cable or a wireless device or a wireless device that connects to the network port.
