Tera Software bags contract worth Rs 60 crore from HP Government

Hyderabad-based Tera Software Ltd has informed that it has signed an agreement with Secretary (Information Technology), Governor of State of Himachal Pradesh, for establishing 2070 Common Service Centers (CSC) in Shimla and Mandi divisions in consortium with GNG Trading.

These online centers would provide various services at one point in rural areas saving them the trouble of visiting sub-division or district headquarters for the purpose, which involves government services like voter registration, voter identity cards, police complaint registration, vacancy listings, passport enquiry status, school board results, REFNIC, High Court cases list, government information and forms through websites under one roof for nominal fee.

Apart from this, additional services like computer education, examination results, vocational education, micro finance, agriculture related services, utility bill payments, railway and bus ticket bookings would also be covered under the project.

Tera Software Limited provides software solutions across the country. It also offers e-governance solutions, system integration and networking solutions, such as hardware /software integration, mobile computing, LAN and WAN networking, smart cards, bio-metrics and kiosks, software maintenance, facility management, tech support and training.

The agreement is expected to generate revenue of Rs 60 crore approximately.
