Abhi-Ash To Sing Lajjo’s Composition For RavanaNow, Abhishek and Aishwarya will sing a song for their upcoming film ‘Ravana.’

Initially, ace music director A R Rahman wrote a song, which would have been used for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Lajjo’.

But the plan to make ‘Lajjo’ got postponed, and Rahman decided to use the composition for ‘Ravana’.

It is also heard that Mani Rathnam has also permitted him to do so.

Lajjo is Mani Rathnam’s Bollywood project that was supposed to star perfectionist Aamir Khan and hot Kareena Kapoor.

Opposition welcomes Deshmukh's resignationOpposition parties in Maharashtra have welcomed the exit of Vilasrao Deshmukh as Chief Minister.

They have alleged that he was a non-performer.

"Deshmukh was non-serious and he was also a non-performer. We are not sad to see him go because of the way he handled Mumbai terror attacks," BJP state unit president Nitin Gadkari said.

"Deshmukh's resignation won't do as the entire government had "failed" on all fronts and needed to be dismissed," said Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly and senior Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam.

68% polling in Chhattisgarh re-poll

Nearly 68 percent voters exercised their franchise in the eight polling booths across the four assembly constituencies in Chhattisgarh that went for re-polling on Wednesday.

Out of those four Keshkal and Antagarh constituencies are naxal infested.

Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Arvind Dixit said that the polling was peaceful and the average polling about 68 percent.

Around 79 percent polling was registered in two booths under Kunkuri constituency, 77 percent at one booth under Dondilohara constituency, 70 percent at the two booths under Antagarh constituency and an average 48 percent in three booths under Keshkal constituency, Dixit said.
