Washington, Feb 11 : Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has laughed off reports suggesting that his five-year marriage is on the rocks.

The 31-year-old singer has advised his fans to take media reports about him with a pinch of salt - insisting most of the stories are made up.

He has also shot down reports that his British band will split within the next two years.

Martin claims that none of the reports are true.
