London, March 18 : Soccer ace David Beckham was besieged by eager Italian women at a recent charity event.

The midfield player commanded the recent Cancer Research Gala in Milan, during which he was submerged by the ladies looking to get hold of the heartthrob.

No sooner had he sat down that the 33-year-old had two busty blondes headed his way looking to flirt, reports the Sun.

Another pair of blondes tried to offer a glimpse of themselves to the superstar in their deep neck tops.

London, Mar 18 : American singer Katy Perry has revealed that she would like to get a giant tattoo of late Freddie Mercury's face.

Perry, 24, was doing a video interview with Florence Welch of Florence And The Machine for MySpace when she made the revelation.

"I nearly got a huge tattoo of Freddie Mercury's face on my back a few years ago," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"It's probably for the best that I didn't get it done, but I still want to do it," she added.

London, Mar 18 : British band Pet Shop Boys have vowed never to work with Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue, after she snubbed them during the recording of her last album.

The band, comprising of comprising Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, had offered to write material for Minogue''s 2007 X record, but were ignored by the star.

"We never heard anything back. I think every songwriter in London wrote songs for Kylie''s last album," the Daily Express quoted Tennant as saying.

Washington, Mar 18 : Actress Salma Hayek has been roped in to star as Adam Sandler's wife in as-yet-untitled comedy film.

The film will also star Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Colin Quinn, reports Variety magazine.

The story of the film revolves around five best friends from high school, who reunite 30 years later on a July 4 weekend.

Dennis Dugan is onboard to direct the picture, which is scheduled to begin filming in the summer.
