Chris MartinLondon, February 2 : Chris Martin has apparently lavished praises on disgraced Brit TV presenter Jonathan Ross in a new song - a year after the prankster passed lewd comments on his wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Coldplay singer seemed to be shielding Ross, who made the long-awaited comeback following a three-month suspension.

Ross had faced the ban for his part in a radio-prank call to 78-year-old Andrew Sachs, which saw him passing lewd comments while RJ Russell Brand spoke of his prior sexual relationship with the actor's granddaughter.

Cowell, who hosts the show American Idol, insisted that all finalists go on to earn thousands of dollars as a result of his hit shows, after he came under attack from a British newspaper.

The paper had claimed that the finalists on his U. K. talent show X Factor had been signed for a country-wide tour after the show ended last year, but were paid as little as
250 pounds per gig.

Judge orders Renee Zellweger to hand over her diary

Renee ZellwegerLondon, Feb 2 : American actress Renee Zellweger has been ordered to hand over her diary to a judge as part of an ongoing insurance battle over her hit movie Cinderella Man.

Zellweger, whose co-star Russell Crowe had suffered a dislocated shoulder and delayed filming on the 2005 picture by seven weeks, had requested a payment of 2 million pounds from film insurance bosses, reports the Daily Star.

But executives at the insurance company claim Zellweger is not entitled to the 4.1 million pounds, which has already been paid out because of the delay.

Cowell, 49, who is an X Factor supremo, further added that in the music business it was not usual for one to be gay.

"I am not gay," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

"But in this business, if you were it wouldn't matter.

"It is not exactly unusual to be gay in the music business or the TV business. It is 2009, after all. So if you are, you are and if you are not, you are not," he stated.
