Washington, Feb 3 : New Jersey is honouring native son rocker Jon Bon Jovi after selecting him for induction into the state''s Hall of Fame.

Joining 12 others, including basketball star Shaquille O''Neal and comedian Jerry Lewis, the Have A Nice Day hitmaker will be honoured at the 2009 ceremony.

Inductees were chosen after votes were compiled by the Hall''s academy and New Jersey residents, who selected their favourite hometown heroes online, reports Contactmusic.

London, Feb 3 : Wayne Rooney, who often produces magic on the field, has confessed that he's mad about the magical world of Harry Potter.

The Manchester United ace is, apparently, spellbound by the Hogwarts character.

When Wayne was asked to name his top book as part of a scheme to encourage young fans to read, the 23-year-old named the schoolboy wizard's first adventure Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, reports the Daily Star.

"The Harry Potter books are favourites with a lot of children, and the same goes for a lot of adults," he said.

London, Feb 3 : Kung Fu Panda has beaten Wall-E to dominate the 36th Annie Awards, which recognise achievement in animation.

The Jack Black movie bagged best animation and 14 other awards including best direction and character design.

Dustin Hoffman, who played curmudgeonly martial arts guru in the film, was named best voice actor.

Britain''s Wallace and Gromit won best short animation for their latest adventure, A Matter of Loaf and Death, reports the BBC.

London, Feb 3 : Gwyneth Paltrow has dismissed rumours suggesting that her marriage is on the rocks.

While in an interview with Elle magazine, the 36-year-old beauty said she and pop star husband Chris Martin don't like to make a big show, reports the Mirror.

"It doesn't behove us to be a public couple. So it's just better if we don't. We will never walk down a red carpet together and if people think it means we're not together... ha, ha, ha.... so be it," she said.

London, Feb 3 : English musician Pete Doherty is being kicked out of his rented 1million pounds mansion, after he infuriated the owner with his filthy way of keeping the place.

The Earl of Cardigan, who owns the place, was very furious and blasted Doherty for it.

"It's high time Mr Doherty found somewhere else to live," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

London, Feb 3 : Even though Slumdog Millionaire won five of the six awards that it had been nominated for, it missed out on all the major awards at the London Evening Standard Film Awards.

The Danny Boyle directed film was beaten by Brit movie `Hunger', with The Reader''s Stephen Daldry getting the Best Director award and Tilda Swinton bagging Best Actress for her role in Julia, reports the Daily Express.
