Star Plus will air the Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Karzzzz’ concert on November 9.

The ‘Karzzzz’ concert was held at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai on October 12.

Hosted by the Cyrus Broacha and Mona Singh, the show features the star-studded performance of Bollywood babes like Riya Sen, Amrita Arora, Amisha Patel and Neha Dhupia.

Other singers who performed in the event included Vineet, Aakruti Kakkar and Tulsi Kumar, daughter of late Gulshan Kumar.

A pall of gloom descended on the Hindi film industry on the demise of veteran filmmaker BR Chopra.

After Satyajit Ray was awarded a lifetime Oscar in 1992, the Academy Film Archives of the US Academy of Motion Pictures followed up the tribute to the legendary filmmaker by undertaking massive projects to restore his films – a total of 37, including documentaries and shorts.

Having already restored ‘Aparajito’ - which will be screened for the first time, since the restoration, at the 14th Kolkata Film Festival – the archives will restore Ray’s ‘Shatranj Ke Khiladi’ (The Chess Player) over the next year.

Washington, Nov 7: Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has lend protection to mourning Jennifer Hudson by hiding the actress out at her luxury Chicago, Illinois apartment, according to reports.

The Oscar winner’s mother and brother were found shot dead on at their Chicago residence while seven-year-old nephew, who went missing was found shot dead in the rear seat of a SUV.

“Jennifer has been staying at Oprah's East Lake Shore Drive condo. There''s plenty of privacy and security there," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling America's Star magazine.

The dream of Satyajit Ray fans for such a long time has finally come true. Ray’s never-before-seen controversial documentary “Sikkim” will be seen for the first time at the 14th Kolkata Film Festival (KFF) on November 17.

The film will be resorted by the United States Academy of Motion Pictures. Ray’s other classics like Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne and Abhijaan has also been restored by the academy.
