Washington, Apr 15 : Hollywood actor Jim Carrey and his lover Jenny McCarthy made their families actually believe that they were going to walk down the aisle, when they faked a proposal on the Ellen De Generes show.

The ‘Bruce Almighty’ actor got down on his knees and popped the question to McCarthy, when they appeared on the live show.

However, Carrey’s proposal was interrupted with bells as soon as he said "Will you..."
