Expect range-bound Nifty, Volatility at higher levels: Hunny Tarika, FairWealth Securities

FairWealth SecuritiesNifty showed increased volatility around 3430 -3450 which happens to be the 200 DMA of the market and closed below this at 3384. Increasing volatility at this level is obvious as Nifty has rallied almost 1000 points from 2540 to 3510.

A consolidation can be seen around levels of 3150-3400 before market makes new highs.

SingaporeSingapore - The Singapore Mercantile Exchange (SMX) Monday said it has been admitted as a member of a number of leading international derivatives trade associations.

Formed in July 2008, SMX has joined the Futures Industry Association (FIA), the Swiss Futures and Options Association (SFOA), the Association of Futures Markets (AFM) and the Futures and Options Association (FOA).

The trade exchanges collectively encompass many leading exchanges and clearing houses in the commodities field, including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange

Stronger yen leads to selling of exporters at Tokyo market Tokyo  - Tokyo stocks fell Monday morning as exporters were hurt by the yen's rise against the US dollar and concerns spread ahead of earning reports season for Japanese firms.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 85.29 points, or 0.96 per cent, to 8,822.29.

The broader Topix index of all first-section issues was also down 6.52 points, or 0.77 per cent, at 839.05.

On currency markets at 9 am (0000 GMT), the dollar traded at 99.32-37 yen, down from Friday's 5 pm quote of 99.39-41 yen.
