Tata Writes Open Letter To People Of WB
The letter of TATA group chairman, Ratan Tata surprised the political and business class of the country.
His “open letter to the citizen of West Bengal” is published in the leading newspapers of Kolkata. He has explained the circumstance under which TATA has to leave Singur in West Bengal. Ratan Tata strongly criticized the role of Trinamool Congress leader, Mamta Benergee and other vested interests.
He demanded the views of young population of the state for the future of West Bengal. He also demanded their views about the present government of Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and other anti-state parties.
His letter is actually the acknowledgement of investment friendly policies of the state government. However, CPM is feeling uneasy as industrialists are appreciating their government for their policies. The party is known for saving the interests of working class of society. Veteran leader Shymal Chakraborty these are the personal views of TATA and CPI has nothing to do with his opinions.
Mamta, on the other hand, said that there is nothing unexpected in the latter. He termed the latter as a political propaganda for Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee. The leader of the opposition Partha Chatterjee said that Ratan Tata should take the charge of secretary of CPI replacing Biman Bose. However, several business leaders hailed Ratan Tata for speaking the truth.
