Tata Indicom and RIM offer BlackBerry Curve 8530BlackBerry Curve 8530 is launched by Tata Teleservices Ltd and Research in Motion for its CDMA users on the Tata Indicom network.

The handset is capable of facilitating emails, messages, social networking, multimedia and entertainment of people. It comes with QWERTY keyboard, 256MB of memory and a 528 MHz processor. It also supports location based applications and Wi-Fi. It also supports 10 email accounts, including Yahoo!, Windows Live Hotmail, AOL and Gmail, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server support.

All the authorized Tata Indicom retail stores across the country have been accommodated with this handset.

Tata Indicom is offering two months free data service to the buyers of BlackBerry Curve 8530 until 30 June. If users have subscribed before June 30, 2010, then they can watch free live TV for the first three months.

It also includes operations by the user's voice rather than by physical input, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support. Its memory is expandable to 32GB by using micro SD cards.

The company has kept its cost at Rs 18,990.
