Swank Asks Women To Donate Their Hair For Cancer Patients

Popular Hollywood actress Hilary Swank has made an appeal to the women to donate their hair to help make wigs for women suffering from cancer.

The Oscar winning actress has donated her hair after cutting it for her role in the film Amelia.

She said she wants to help women who lose their hair following chemotherapy.

Swank said, "One in three women are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes. A lot of my family members have had their lives devastated by cancer. You just need to have eight inches (of hair) to donate."

“You just need to have eight inches (of hair) to donate,” she added.
