Suzuki registers a 53% growth in April
While it has been doing wonders in the four-wheelers arena with Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki Motor Corporation is also slowly trying to tap the rising two-wheelers market. Two-wheeler maker Suzuki Motorcycle India, a 100% subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation has recently filed a 53% rise in its unit sale sin the month of April 2010.
The company sold around 20,771 units in the month of April 2010 as compared to same month last year wherein the company sold 13,556 units. Suzuki Motorcycle India Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Atul Gupta explained the fact that the company has been able to provide high quality products to the consumer which in turn have resulted in a high consumer satisfaction level.
Gupta further added the fact that the company would like to carry this growth momentum even in the months to come in this fiscal. In fact, if the experts are to be believed then the recently launched products like GS150R and scooter Access125 have been accepted very well in the Indian market by the consumer which is helping the company to clock better volumes in the domestic circuit.
