Steve Wozniak Impressed By Work on Upcoming Biopic of Steve Jobs

Co-founder of Apple Inc., Steve Wozniak, said he is quite impressed with the work of director Danny Boyle, screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and the cast of an upcoming biopic of Steve Jobs.

Wozniak told CNNMoney that it is a stellar inspection that is unlike any other movie about Jobs. Due to his close relationship with the late entrepreneur, Wozniak acted as consultant to the Danny Boyle movie, which hits cinemas in October and sees Michael Fassbender in the lead role.

Gibney's film feels less than even-handed in name-checking Jobs as a 'genius' without spending any time meaningfully exploring Jobs' personal contributions to the products so many of us, in Gibney's word, 'love'.

Wozniak admitted to the BBC that he has actually seen two rough cuts. He said he was shocked and amazed at how good it was in the sense of professional filmmaking.

"I usually go to a movie not looking for 'do I like the story' as much as: 'What is the quality that came of the heads of the people that made it? In this case the filmmakers have done an award-winning job. The acting was just so realistic", he said.

Opening across the Philippines on January 13, 2016, Steve Jobs is distributed by United Global Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

Some people wonder what Wozniak would make of the new film after he expressed mixed feelings about the way its trailer showed him angrily challenging Steve Jobs to his face.

It's actually thrilling to listen to an action movie driven nearly exclusively by words, a rare thing for sure in today's visually driven cinema. He had awful experiences and just got rid of them right away, said Wozniak.
