Number of Hollywood stars gathered to pay their homage to the beloved actor Dennis Hopper.  The list includes Jack Nicholson and Val Kilmer as well.

Hopper was not well for last few days and was suffering from prostate cancer. He breathed his last at the age of 74.

Hopper died at his residence in Venice at California in presence of his family and friends. Mr. Nicholson who was the co-star of Hooper in the movie 'Easy Rider' and it was s huge success at that period of time. He has said that he had a very singular relationship with Hopper.

Nobody can imagine the closeness and level of friendship.  

As per Nicholson, they were truly soul mates. He has added that he will really miss this person a lot.

There was a two hour of service in New Mexico and then there was a private burial took place. Henry Lee, son of Hopper read the poems from the Walt Whitman's collection and Leaves of Grass at the time of service.
