Sprint asks staff to eep mum on next iPhone
In a leaked secret memo, telecom operator, sprint has asked its staff members to just state, `no comments', when asked about the next generation of iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 5.
The memo has sparked more rumors that the operator will start selling the new device from this fall. SprintFeed reportedly accessed an internal memo preparing dealers on how to respond to questions about the new iPhone follwing rumors that the operator will launch it along with AT&T and Verizon in mid-October.
"If you're asked by a customer or just talking to friends or family members, you need to avoid making any comment about the iPhone and simple [sic] state "no comment," the memo read. It further asks employees who are asked a direct question by a customer to say, "Yes, I saw a few of those reports, I don't have any information to share."
Even as the memo does not clearly state that the operator will indeed offer the new iPhone but many believe that the company's `no comment' stance is a strong indicator of the possible launch of the device.
