Sonic the Hedgehog game to be available on mobile phones
The classic Sonic the Hedgehog will soon be launched in mobile devices powered by the Google’s Android platform, Apple iOS as well as and Windows Phone OS.
The popular PC game Sonic the Hedgehog from the US based publisher, Sega. The publisher said that the 'Sonic the hedgehog 4: Episode 2' game will soon be launched for the devices. The game is one of the best selling games for the PC.
The game features a blue hedgehog named Sonic as the central character, who tries to save the world from various threats including that from Dr Ivo Eggman Robotnik with the help of his friends. The Sonic the hedgehog 4: Episode 2 comes with new character animations and will expand the storyline of the series.
The arrival of a high-flying, twin-tailed creature is expected to attract a great number of gamers. The new version will allow mobile phone users to play the game on their mobile phones on the move.
Haruki Satomi, senior vice president of Digital Business at Sega said, "The first entry in the Sonic 4 saga was a major success. We've listened to the fans and been hard at work making sure we recapture that same spirit of fun in Episode II. We hope the fans will enjoy it."
