Son saves father with a bottle of coke
Andrew Wythe, who accidentally set himself on fire while pouring petrol on the bonfire, was saved by his son with a bottle of coke.
The quick thinking son, Nicholas, immediately took a bottle of coke shook it up and sprayed it all over his father's body when he saw him in fire.
Andrew, an office temp, said that when he screamed for help to son, he first panicked a bit, but soon grabbed the 2-litre bottle of coke and sprayed it all over his body.
Later, he was rushed to a burn unit of West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance by his wife Anita where he was treated for injuries before being transferred to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
The level headed boy said that his father was rolling on the floor, but as it was an awkward position that didn't work and next minute his father was running towards him shouting for help.
