Softball player who suffered Brain Aneurysm during a Game dies

Earlier, a teen softball player from California collapsed during a game. The teen suffered a brain aneurysm. Now, after about four day, the player has died. According to reports, the 15-year-old player, Dana Housley, was playing at an elite travel tournament in Fontana on Saturday when she complained of feeling dizzy. News of her death was confirmed by her family.

Housley's parents, Larry and Julieta, posted about her death on GoFundMe page. They said that Housley is going to be a perfect angel. Coach Angelo Michaels mourned for Housley. Michaels said, "Tragedy struck quickly. In the middle of the pitch, Housley had turned to her head coach which was odd".

Her teammate, Bailey Chavez, said that Housley's collapse was surprising. She was normal during the game. Then she suddenly collapsed and it surprised everyone, Chavez added. According to the reports, when Housley fell to the ground, she was taken to a hospital, where she was placed on life support.

Coach Angelo Michaels said that Housley complained about feeling dizzy. She walked towards the coach and then her knees gave way and Michaels caught her, as per the reports. A post of GoFundMe page stated that the player was not able to breathe on her own and did not have brain activity. The GoFundMe page has been created by California Thunder softball league coach Valerie Van Kirk-LeVier. Housley's condition was stable as of Tuesday, according to the team.

According to Housley's friends, she suffered from a brain aneurysm. Health experts said that it is very rare when a teen faces such situation, but it happens sometimes. Before this incident, a brain aneurysm became the reason of another teen collapsing on the field during a game in Minnesota. The player was identified 15-year-old Zacherie Schaubhut who died in a nearby hospital.
