SmartPhone users issued warning by Apple over faulty adapters
3G iPhone users beware, Apple recently warned its users that the compact power adapter which came along with the packing of the iPhone, might be defective.
The USP adapter has got a metal point that can snap off inside power outlets and thus give rise to an electrical shock risk
The customers from countries including the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and 10 Latin American countries, need to heed this warning.
However, the customers can exchange the defected Ultracompact USB Power Adapters at Apple stores free of charge or order free replacement from the company’s website.
A statement issued by Apple said, “We have received reports of detached blades involving a very small percentage of the adapters sold, but no injuries have been reported.”
The iPhone users have been advised by Apple to recharge their sets directly from the computer till the faulty adapters are replaced.
