Bollywood hottie Shilpa Shetty tied nuptial knot with her long-time boy friend Raj Kundra on Sunday (Nov 22).

The much-awaited weeding took place at Shilpa's best friend Kiran Bawa's farmhouse in Khandala.

The wedded pair took promises in presence of their near and dear ones.

A source said, "At around 2.30 pm, Shilpa and Raj had a traditional Mangalorean pooja, which takes place before the wedding. It was attended by both their families and close friends."

After the pooja, the bridegroom left for Duke's Hotel and then came back in a big horse-driven chariot at around 5 pm to the wedding site at Bawa Villa with his baraatis.

"Everything went very well. All parents want their children to get married happily and that goes the same for Shilpa's parents as well. They are very happy,' said Kiran Bawa, after the wedding said, 'Raj and Shilpa both were very nervous before the marriage but now they are happy. We are going straight to Raj's house in Mumbai,' she added.

In their respective designer clothes, both Shilpa and Raj were looking wonderful.

Shilpa appeared in a special lehenga type saree designed by famous Bollywood fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, while Raj wore a maroon sherwani with golden embroidery and a turban.

Now, the newly wedded couple will host a grand reception in Mumbai where Bollywood celebs are likely to grace the occasion and later they will hold a party in Raj's home town London.

After the post-marriage ceremonies, the duo will go for honeymoon in Bahamas.
